Kelley Ott is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). He specializes in work with adults/adolescents who have lived through abuse or other traumas, and work with couples in conflict who want to strengthen their relationship. Kelley is skilled in treating a variety of other issues, including anxiety, depression, dissociation, spiritual abuse, and family problems.

Kelley is trained and experienced in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples and Families, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and Structural Family Therapy. He is a Darkness to Light (childhood sexual abuse prevention) facilitator and is trained in Triple P Positive Parenting.

Kelley's educational background includes a M.A. in Marriage and Family Counseling and a B.S. in Biology.

One of Kelley's greatest passions is working with new and experienced therapists who want to expand their insight and skills. His experience includes training numerous student interns while serving as the Mental Health Coordinator at a trauma-focused counseling center in New Orleans, and supervising a team of in-home therapists in Pittsburgh. Kelley has also taken a course in providing effective supervision. At Steel River Counseling Kelley is available to supervise or provide consultation to interns, therapists working towards licensure, and licensed therapists.
